Laura Manning-Lee, R.D.H., B.S., M.A. is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology and Dental Hygiene. Since 2011, Ms. Manning-Lee has taught periodontics to pre-clinical and clinical UDM dental students, after teaching dental hygiene students for 16 years. She has been a continuing education presenter on topics involving periodontal instrumentation (powered and manual), emerging technologies, as well as ergonomics and dental implant maintenance.  She continues to work clinically in a prosthodontic practice.  Ms. Manning-Lee earned a Certificate in Dental Hygiene in 1994, her B.S. in Dental Hygiene in 1995, and continued on to obtain a Masters of Art in Curriculum and Instruction in 2012, all from the University of Detroit Mercy. Mrs. Manning-Lee most recently traveled with several dental students on mission trips to assist in providing dental services to poverty stricken regions of Mexico, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.
