Biography
Prof. Palanci is responsible for program administration, admissions and clinical supervision of all students in the Accelerated Dental Program. Additional responsibilities include providing lectures to pre-doctoral students and AEGD residents in the dental school. His interests focus on removable prosthodontics and biomaterials research. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and recipient of Outstanding Faculty Award from the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has a degree of D.D.S. from the University of Detroit. He was a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army and practiced in a general dental practice for thirty five years prior to joining the university full-time in 2009.
