Homant teaches deviant behavior and corrections courses, statistics and research methods and victimology. He has published more than 100 professional articles regarding police behavior and offender rehabilitation. Homant currently researches factors affecting perceptions of the legitimacy of the criminal justice system. Previously, he has served as department chair and director of human services. Before working as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice Studies he served as Professor of Criminal Justice Studies.
