Area of Responsibility:
Transfer students interested in attending Detroit Mercy programs in partnership with Wayne County Community College District's University Center in Harper Woods, MI.
About me:
I have worked at Detroit Mercy since 2013. Prior to my time at Detroit Mercy, I worked with youth in the foster care and juvenile justice system and also with adults as a substance abuse counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Detroit Mercy in 2011 and completed my Master of Social Work from University of Michigan in 2012. My favorite part of Detroit Mercy is the faculty-they are committed to growing and nurturing the minds of their students and exemplify the values that are so important to a Detroit Mercy education. New students should know that because of Detroit Mercy's close-knit setting, help is only an arm's reach away. I am motivated by the tenacity of the students here and I firmly believe in transformative power of education in society and also in an individual's life.
