Long Description for ILS Org Chart

This page describes graphically the Organization Chart for the Institute for Leadership and Service. At the top of the page are the logos for the University of Detroit Mercy and the Institute for Leadership and Service. Also heading the page is the Institute’s motto: “Transforming Lives to lead and Serve.”

The Vice President of Academic Affairs, Pamela Zarkowski, directly supervises the two components of the Institute. The first component is Research, Evaluation, and Leadership Development, directed by Dr. Kathleen Zimmerman-Oster. The second is Engaged Learning, directed by Fr. Tim Hipskind, SJ. Dr. Zimmerman-Oster supervises the "Emerging Leaders Program" that is managed Mary Ruth Oster. She also supervises "Step Up: Be a leader and Pay it Forward", managed by Elani Williams; as well as "Community Consulting" and "Virtual Reality Life Skills Training Projects".

Fr. Hipskind supervises Community Engaged Learning, assisted by Sigrid Streit, Faculty Associate, Mike Martin, Consultant, adn Tasnima Chowdhury. He also supervises Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN), managed by Chelsea Manning with help by: Natasha Davis-Mickles, Serena Yousif, Oliver Gamez, Isabelle Francis, Dalia Khoshe, Qamar Elia, Mari Goin, Courtney Christian Mary Sankarathil. And he supervises Agency Liaisons Sr. Karen Dunville, RSM and Lia Chirinos Arriaga
