Increasing breast cancer awareness among Arab-Americans
The College teams up with the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS), to increase awareness of breast cancer risks and services for low-income Arab-American women in metro Detroit. The project is supported by the Susan G. Komen Detroit Race for the Cure and its sponsor, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. Read

The Health Services Administration job shadowing program benefits students and the healthcare executives they shadow for a day. Students see first-hand the value of team work and the level of cooperation and coordination that is required of the profession. Read
