MBA Program ranked among world’s best for social responsibility

The MBA program at the University of Detroit Mercy was ranked among the top 100 programs worldwide for its emphasis on social responsibility and sustainability. The ranking was completed by the Aspen Institute, an independent non-profit agency, through an extensive seven-month review of MBA programs from 22 different countries this fall, to determine which ones lead the world in promoting social and environmental stewardship.

Alumni Week: Save the Date

The annual Alumni Week, during which alumni from the College of Business Administration are invited back to campus to provide guest lectures, will take place March 19-24.  Both faculty and students enjoy discussing real-world applications of business lessons with practitioners who’ve graduated from UDM.  If you are interested in volunteering to speak with a class, please contact Associate Dean Ken Kuna at 313-993-1232 or kenneth.kuna@udmercy.edu.

New courses offered

This fall, the College offered the new course, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, taught by Professor Michael Bernacchi, a well-known expert on Super Bowl advertisements.  In Winter Term, the College will introduce a related new course, Sports Law, taught by Associate Professor Jacques Boettcher, a legal expert.
