College announces five-year BSBA/MBA program
Beginning in Fall 2009, the College of Business Administration will admit qualified students into a five-year program leading to completion of both Bachelor of Science and Master in Business Administration degrees.

To be admitted, applicants must have a minimum high school grade point average of 3.25 and a minimum ACT Composite Score of 24. Once admitted, students must maintain at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average at UDM to remain in the program.
Students admitted to this program will complete the BSBA in four years of study and complete the MBA degree by the end of the fifth year. No separate entrance exam will be required of these students for admission to the MBA.
In addition to satisfying all curriculum requirements for both degrees, students in the five-year program must complete a minimum of two full-time co-op assignments (i.e. internships). One of these internships must occur between the fourth year and fifth year of study.
Plus, each student will be assigned a mentor from the business community to assist and guide the student in career planning and development. This mentoring will supplement the academic advising provided by the College of Business Administration and the many services provided by the University's Career Education Center.
"Given the success of other five-year combined bachelor's/ master's programs at UDM, we expect this program to attract a number of outstanding students in coming years," states Associate Dean Bruce Brorby. "These students will improve the quality of our undergraduate student body in the first year, and will add to the quality of our MBA program in the future."
