Beta Gamma Sigma chapter recognized, student honored
The College of Business Administration's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma has been named one of the organization's Premier Chapters for the seventh consecutive year.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the National Honorary Society for business programs, and membership represents the highest national academic recognition which students in the field of business may attain.
As a result of attaining this status, the UDM chapter is eligible to participate in the national scholarship program, and chapter inductee Cassandra Moran has been named a Beta Gamma Sigma Scholar for 2007-2008.

Cassie MoranIn addition to her membership in the business honor society, Moran, a senior Accounting major from St. Clair Shores, has earned a 3.996 GPA while participating in many educational and service activities, often taking a leadership role.
She is president of the CBA Student Advisory Board, president of UDM's chapter of the Beta Alpha Psi accounting honor society, vice president of service for Alpha Phi Omega, student dean of the University's Honors Program, vice president of the Student Alumni Association and vice president of the Student Volunteer Center.
Moran is also a Presidential Ambassador, a Spiritus scholar, and is the past recipient of the Dean's Award and a Financial Executives International Accounting Scholarship.
