CBA honor societies induct new members
On Sunday, April 1, 2007, the College of Business Administration held its 55th annual Honor Society Banquet and Induction Ceremony in the Fountain Lounge on the McNichols Campus.
A total of 19 undergraduates and 32 graduate students were honored by membership in one or more of the three national honorary societies chartered within the College: Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and Alpha Iota Delta.
The evening's keynote speaker was alumnus Harry Cendrowski '77 (pictured at right), of Cendrowski Corporate Advisors, who addressed the 125 people in attendance on the importance of Ethics and Business Leadership. He was also inducted as an honorary member of Beta Alpha Psi.
GEMBA Cohort II graduates
Members of the second cohort of Global Enterpreneurial Master in Business Adminstration (GEMBA) program graduated this spring. GEMBA students receive instruction both at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and during two-week stays at UDM. They participated in the May 12 Commencement ceremony.
While here, students absorb U.S. culture and are able to travel—Cohort II attended a Tigers game, shopped at the Birch Run outlets, and visited Niagara Falls, Ontario.
