Clubs and Organizations
UDM is full of people just like you.
No matter what interests you, you're sure to find friends at UDM who share your passion. We have more than 50 clubs and organizations that bring students together to build skills, make friends, develop networks and have fun.
Are you interested in joining a club that relates to your major? UDM has a Chem Club, American Institute of Architecture Students, Engineering and Science Student Council, Political Science Association, Philosophy Club and many others. Like to perform? Then check out the Ensemble of Praise, the Detroit Titans in Motion dance squad or the campus radio station. Want to make a difference through community service? Our Student Volunteer Association, the Student Senate, JUSTICE organization and fraternities and sororities are among the many campus groups that provide opportunities for students to give back.
Benefits of Membership
Student organizations are an integral part of student life at the University of Detroit Mercy, contributing to the holistic development of students. Participation in organizations assist students in developing the transferable skills sought by most employers. Students also learn to be effective team players, well rounded individuals and productive citizens. Activities sponsored by student organizations promote social involvement, cultural and community awareness, critical thinking, global understanding and life planning skills.
Are You Interested in Joining or Forming a Club or Organization?
You may contact registered student organizations directly by writing to their campus address. In addition, organization representatives are eager to talk with interested students at the Fall Organization Fair and organization informational meetings and other campus events that they host throughout the year.
