For an enjoyable activity with lifelong benefits, we recommend one of our eight different reading skills programs taught by instructors from the Institute of Reading Development. Programs have been offered as a community service by the University of Detroit Mercy Special Programs since 1996.

The summer reading programs are available in Ann Arbor, Bloomfield Hills, Brighton, Canton, Clinton Township, Dearborn, Detroit, East Lansing, Flint, Grand Rapids, Grosse Pointe Woods, Kalamazoo, Livonia, Northville, Rochester, Southfield, Troy, Warren and other locations throughout the area.
