The University of Detroit Mercy has experienced 3 cases of indecent exposure in the past 60 days.  In each incident, the perpetrator has approached female patrons, engaged them in conversation then exposed himself to them.  The perpetrator then escapes through the front door.    Public Safety has taken additional measures- We ask you to take additional precautions:

• Avoid isolated areas or study with friends
• Use the buddy system or call for a campus escort during the evening hours (313) 993-1234
• Do not leave personal belongings unattended
• Ask for assistance when selecting materials from secluded areas
• On campus report suspicious persons or activities to Public Safety (313) 993-1123
• Off campus report incidents by dialing 9-1-1
