PLEASE NOTE: The Arts Foundation of Michigan merged with three other nonprofit arts service organizations (Business Volunteers for the Arts, Concerned Citizens for the Arts in Michigan and the Michigan Alliance for Arts Education on May 1, 1997 to form ArtServe Michigan.
Council of Michigan Foundations - The Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership association comprised of private, community, and corporate foundations and giving programs in the State of Michigan. CMF's mission to increase, enhance, and improve philanthropy is accomplished through CMF's primary focus of assisting Michigan grantmakers in their work of effectively giving away money.
The State Scene - A jump station to the state executive branch government offices; Department of Transportation; Department of Education; Information Technology Network; K-12 Regional Hubs and MERIT Dial-in; Michigan Universities; State Literacy Resource Center; and, a limited list of professional associations.
Michigan Department of Education - The Michigan Department of Education is the administrative arm of the State Board of Education, implementing federal and state legislative mandates in the field of education. It is comprised of 16 offices providing specialized services and outreach to the citizens of Michigan.
Michigan Electronic Library - The University of Michigan's MLink Program and the Library of Michigan have created an Internet information service called The Michigan Electronic Library to serve the state's and its citizens. The Michigan Electronic Library makes available information resources critical to the citizens of our state. It also collects resources from all over the world in all areas of human endeavor.
