The SAT Brings Heartaches and Laughs in "None of the Above", UDM Theatre Company Season 42 Opening Production
The UDM Theatre Company announces the Michigan premiere of Jenny Lyn Bader’s None of the Above. The SAT brings heartaches and chuckles in this snappy new comedy which opens the Theatre Company’s 42nd theatrical season. Performed at the Marygrove Theatre (8425 W McNichols Rd, 48221), None of the Above will be performed October 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14, 2012. No last minute studying needed to enjoy this clever romantic evening of laughs at the theatre.
After failing her first attempt at the SAT’s due to total apathy on the subject, Jamie (Michelle Renaud) is cut off from the family funds. Her parents retaliate by setting the bar even higher for her second attempt. To show her just how serious they are, they hire Clark (Chris Jacob), an academic overachiever to tutor Jamie to a higher score. Jamie’s guile and resistance to conformity threatens to derail Clark’s efforts to accomplish what may be an impossible task. Should he fail to gain Jamie’s cooperation, he risks losing everything in the process. None of the Above is a play written by Harvard graduate and festival-headlining playwright Jenny Lyn Bader, and is directed by Dr. Arthur J. Beer.
