Broadside Press presents Chantay "Legacy" Leonard to UDM
The Dudley Randall Center for Print Culture and Broadside Press Poets’ Theater will host writer, performance poet and activist Chantay "Legacy" Leonard on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 from 3-6 p.m. in the Grounds Coffee Haus on UDM’s McNichols Campus.

Leonard's work has been featured in Stanford University's "Black Arts Quarterly,” Poetry Slam Inc's "Estrology", and many other publications. She has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art-Detroit, Cranbrook Art Museum, and several other museums throughout the world.
Leonard co-founded the literary and performance group Black Ink Collective and is the vice president of Strange Fruits, Inc., an all woman non-profit arts and performance collective. She had traveled with the performance activism series, Hip-Poe-Tics throughout the country and is currently working on her first fiction project.
The Broadside Press Poets’ Theater is held the third Sunday of each month and is free to the public.
