College of Business Administration Inducts Hall of Honor Class

University of Detroit Mercy’s College of Business Administration will induct its fourth class into its Hall of Honor next month. The luncheon and ceremony, which will recognize the professional achievements of eight individuals, will be held at the Detroit Golf Club on Sunday, Oct. 9th at 12:30 p.m. The event will include a Mass at St. Ignatius Chapel at 10:30 a.m. in the Commerce & Finance Building on the McNichols Campus.

This year’s honorees will be recognized for giving back their time and offering important resources to the University in many different ways, helping it continue to flourish and grow. The 2011 eight inductees are:

  • Richard E. Czarnecki '53, '56 - University of Detroit /University of Michigan Dearborn
  • John W. Ennest '64 - Citizen's Bank
  • Roman S. Gribbs '52, '54 - former Mayor of the City of Detroit
  • Samuel J. Logan Jr. '73 - publisher, Michigan Chronicle/The Front Page
  • Frances Mlocek, I. H. M. '58 - chief financial officer, IHM Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
  • William A. Morrow '68 - executive vice president, Crain Communications Inc.
  • Marcellus “Marc” Stepp '63 - United Auto Workers (UAW)
  • Michael V. Tiernery '60- General Motors
