UDM Hosts Open House at Macomb University Center
University of Detroit Mercy will host an open house at the Macomb University Center on Sunday, Oct. 10 from 12:30-3 p.m. The University offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at Macomb University Center.

UDM program staff will be available in Room 220B to meet with students and aid in program planning. Students who choose to attend programs offered at Macomb’s University Center have access to Macomb Community College’s services and facilities. The Center is located at: 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Twp., MI 48038-1139
Programs available include:
- Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics - This degree program involves the academic study of finance with a strong emphasis on the theory and application of economic principals. The program also prepares students to think critically about the moral and ethical issues that arise in the field of finance.
- Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration - This degree program best prepares individuals for entry and middle management or clinical supervisory positions in organizations, institutions and agencies that deliver health services.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree Completion Cohort Program - this bachelors degree is designed for RNs to complete their nursing degree through a cohort model in a 40-month format. The curriculum (39 credit hours) was created to build on each student's strengths and competencies as a practicing registered nurse.
- Master of Arts in Economics - This degree program offers students the ability to learn and apply economic and financial principles to the U.S. international financial systems. Students can pursue one of two tracks: The Theory Track with an academic orientation or the Applied Track with a practical orientation.
- Master of Arts in Financial Economics - This degree program focuses on the study of economic and financial principles related to the U.S. and international financial systems. The program also addresses the moral and ethical issues that arise in the field of finance.
- Master of Science in Nursing in Health Systems Management - This program was created to assist health care providers in planning, designing, managing and evaluating health care programs, interventions and resources within a variety of health care settings.
- Master of Science in Health Services Administration - This degree program was designed to build on the health-related preparation and work experience of its adult students to prepare them for promotion into a variety of health care management roles. The courses integrate management theory with specific application to health care through the program.
