McAuley Health Center Hosts Free Sports and Well Exams for Children

University of Detroit Mercy’s McAuley Health Center will offer free sports and wellness exams for children from Monday, April 5 through Friday, April 9. The exams will be available from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. all week and until 7 p.m. on Thursday. Call 313-579-1182 to make an appointment and avoid waiting times. McAuley Health Center is located at 5555 Conner, Suite 2691 in Detroit.

Children, 18 and under are eligible, whether they have insurance or not. Medicaid applications will also be taken on-site. Dental screenings will be available at select times, as well as health information, gifts, and prizes for all participants. McAuley Health Center is one of several locations for the free exams as part of a program sponsored by the Detroit Wayne County Health Authority.
