Universities and Colleges such as UDM Participate in Yellow Ribbon Program for Veterans
University of Detroit Mercy is proudly participating in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.
The majority of schools that are participating are private, non-profit universities like University of Detroit Mercy although proprietary institutions are also well-represented on the list – and they historically attract the greatest numbers of veterans attending college on GI Bill benefits.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is now accepting and processing applications for the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Veterans should complete and submit the application form available online and apply for the program. For more information on the program, visit: http://www.gibill.va.gov/
For more information on UDM’s participation, contact the school’s Student Accounting Office in Room 40 in the Fisher Administration building on the McNichols Campus or by calling them at 313-993-1420.
