UDM Hosts Free Children’s Immunization Fair at Samaritan Center

As summer heats up, children will be preparing for the beginning of another school year and it is important for them to scheduled regular medical checkups.

McAuley Health Center and University of Detroit Mercy are hosting a free Children’s Immunization Fair on Thursday, July 30 from 2 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Samaritan Center, 5555 Conner St. in Detroit. The Center will also offer dental screenings from the UDM Dental Clinic, sign up new patients for appointments and set up dates for required school sports physicals.  Free face-painting, balloon animals, prizes and clowns will also be on-hand.  Healthcare professionals will be available to answer any questions they you may have.

This Children’s Immunization Fair is free and open to the public.  The event is open to children (18 and under) with a parent or guardian.  Parents are asked to bring any past children’s immunization records, if they have them.
