Tuesday, April 5, 2011
Commerce & Finance Building, Room 118, 12:40pm-2:00pm EDT
To learn more about the China Study Program, plan on meeting with a representative of the Beijing Center who will be available to answer questions.
The Beijing Center for Chinese Studies is the Jesuit China Study Abroad Program. This program, established in 1998, represents an outstanding educational opportunity for students currently attending University of Detroit Mercy.
The Beijing Center's wide variety of courses, 50 classes across 13 different disciplines, is designed to help students develop a thorough understanding of China while permitting students from most majors and minors to study abroad and still graduate on time. All classes are in English and the program includes excursions to various parts of China providing a deeper understanding of the diversity and culture of that country.
Credits earned in the program will count toward graduation from UDM. Currently, there are scholarships available to students interested in studying in China.
