Directions for Time Card Lag Adjustments
- Indicate your time for June 30, 2002 through July 3, 2002 on your current timecard. Part of July 3 and all of July 4 and July 5, 2002 will need to be forecasted. Check with your supervisor.
- Draw a line through the lower part of your card as indicated below and write "Timecard Lag". Total hours should include the 40-hour lag.
- On Side A of your timecard, indicate the number of regular hours (including the 40 hours for the lag), overtime, etc. The payperiod ending date will be July 6, 2002.
- Your supervisor should sign your timecard and it must be turned into the Human Resources and Payroll Department before noon on July 3, 2002.
- Your next timecard will begin on Sunday, July 7, 2002.
- You are now on the timecard lag.
Note: If your contract indicates a different week period such as Monday – Sunday, instead of Sunday through Monday, alter the information above to match your contract.
