Directions for Time Card Lag Adjustments

  1. Indicate your time for June 30, 2002 through July 3, 2002 on your current timecard. Part of July 3 and all of July 4 and July 5, 2002 will need to be forecasted. Check with your supervisor.
  2. Draw a line through the lower part of your card as indicated below and write "Timecard Lag". Total hours should include the 40-hour lag.
  3. On Side A of your timecard, indicate the number of regular hours (including the 40 hours for the lag), overtime, etc. The payperiod ending date will be July 6, 2002.
  4. Your supervisor should sign your timecard and it must be turned into the Human Resources and Payroll Department before noon on July 3, 2002.
  5. Your next timecard will begin on Sunday, July 7, 2002.
  6. You are now on the timecard lag.

Note: If your contract indicates a different week period such as Monday – Sunday, instead of Sunday through Monday, alter the information above to match your contract.
