  • The Human Resources and Payroll department have provided this informational web-site to give you convenient access to Benefits information and forms.
  • To received the Health Care Credit (HCC) every year you must re-enroll and submit documentation indicating that you have creditable coverage through someone else’s plan;
  • The Flexible Spending Account is based on a calendar year,(January to December) and if you “don’t use it” you “lose it”;

  • The spouse and/or dependent of an employee eligible for tuition waiver can also participate in the program;
  • The IRS definition of eligible “dependent child” is unmarried; child by birth, legal adoption, legal guardianship while in the employee’s custody, the child of the employee’s spouse and resides as a member of the employee’s household, one that the employee provides more than half of his/her support; and under age 24 at the end of the year;
  • The University provides life insurance coverage for you at 1X your annual base salary, but you have the option to purchase more through Cigna Group Voluntary plan;
  • Cigna Group offers much more than life insurance, lots of programs available;
  • Direct deposit is an easy and convenient way to pay day;
  • Employees with direct deposit should notify Human Resources and Payroll if bank account(s) information changes;
  • The name on your pay check should match the name on your social security card.
