Todd Hibbard is a native Detroiter with a passion for his city. He has lived and taught in many other places in the United States, but was proud to join the University of Detroit Mercy faculty in 2011 and return "home." After graduating with a degree in religion from Lee University, he pursued master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!). His scholarly work focuses on Judaism and Christianity in the ancient world, primarily through study of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament. Beyond his work and family life, he is passionate about three things: good coffee, excellent jazz and the Detroit Tigers.
