Incoming Students

Important Information for incoming students to the University of Detroit Mercy

ALL students who will be living in the Residence Hall (dorms) for the first time must have on file a Tuberculosis skin test that was performed in either the United States or Canada within the last one year. Please be sure you have turned in your TB skin test post-card that came in your Admission packet.

ALLstudents who will be living in the Residence Halls (dorms) must have documentation of health insurance on file with the Health Center. If you fail to mail in a waiver form, proving you have adequate coverage under your parents insurance or your own insurance, you will automatically be enrolled into the insurance plan UDM offers.

It is highly encouraged that all incoming students check to be sure their immunizations are up-to-date, including:

• MMR- Measles, Mumps, Rubella
• Hepatitis B series
• Td- Tetanus, Diphtheria
• Meningitis
