An Endowed Scholarship

An Endowed Scholarship is an excellent way of honoring or commemorating a special group or significant individual. When you endow a scholarship, you are investing in UDM students for many generations to come. Your minimum gift of $25,000, establishes an endowed scholarship fund, although we encourage you to continue building on the principle of your endowed scholarship with additional gifts.

An Expendable Scholarshipscholarship program

An Expendable Scholarship is often established in honor of a particular group or individual and allows for the opportunity to provide immediate assistance annually. There is no minimum amount required to establish an expendable scholarship. Generally, contributions to an expendable scholarship fund are spent each year exhausting the fund. We encourage our donors to continue contributing additional gifts in subsequent years, thereby replenishing the fund so immediate awards continue in the future.
