Grounds CoffeeHaus Renovation Project

One of the most exciting renovations during Summer 2010 is Grounds CoffeeHaus, the student-operated shop in the Lower Level of Student Center.  In addition to last summer's renovations to Titan Fit Zone & Student Activities area, Grounds CoffeeHaus now has a more inviting, polished look.  Open daily, Grounds is a fun area to see an event, hangout, study, or grab a snack.

The project included:

• Freshly painted walls throughout the space
• Refurbishing floor tiles
• Refinishing of wood bar
• Installation of mood-setting table lamps
• Installation of new dining furniture, end tables, comfy chairs, and pub-height chairs for the bar
• Installation of artwork reflecting different decades throughout UDM history
• Installation of hours of operations signage
• Installation of new Grounds CoffeeHaus sign, mirror, and menu chalkboards that create a backdrop to the bar
• Installation of new stage skirting
• Installation of new ceiling
