As part of an energy efficiency project, the Chemistry window renovation was selected to be funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. This long awaited project took place over Summer 2010. Interestingly, in compliance with the State Historical Preservation Officer, the new windows and exterior doors installed match the historical features of the 1927 building. The project included:
