Description:

Symmetrical, pyramid-shaped deciduous tree.  Fast growing.  Height 20' in 10-12 years, matures to 50-70'; spreads 25-30'.  Tolerates urban pollution.

Leaf:

Leaves 1 1/2 - 3" long, lopsided, mid-green.  Fall color of yellow with cool nights; in mild climates, leaves remain green until killed by frost.

Flower:

Flowers in midsummer, yellow-white and very fragrant, attractive to bees.  Followed by tiny inedible fruit which persist into winter.

None.

Light:

Full sun or light shade.

Uses:

Street tree, shade tree.
