Symposium: Urban health and the ACA

Urban health issues: Impact of the Affordable Care Act

As the Affordable Care Act is being implemented, its impact on urban health is still unknown. This symposium will explore strategies for coordination of care from a systems perspective, discuss successful health care delivery models within underserved settings and describe possible methods of achieving maximum reimbursement under the ACA while meeting quality care goals. The symposium brings together experts from a variety of healthcare fields throughout Metro Detroit to address this important topic.

This program has been developed and is presented locally by MCACHE (formerly MHEGA). The American College of Healthcare Executives has awarded 1.5 ACHE Face-to-Face Education Credits for each session.
