Civil engineering conference

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) University of Detroit Mercy Student Chapter is proudly hosting the 2014 North Central Student Conference. This is the first time the conference is being hosted by UDM.

The conference will include concrete canoe, steel bridge, technical paper and mystery design competitions among multiple networking opportunities, professional speakers and presentations. Approximately 300 civil engineering students will be attending, representing 10 universities from across Michigan and Ohio.

The steel bridge competition and concrete canoe aesthetics judging will be held at UDM and the concrete canoe races will be held off-campus.
