Dan Pitera speaks on Detroit at DIA

Associate Professor of Architecture Dan Pitera has been invited to give the 2013 Betsy Campbell Lecture in the Danto Lecture Hall of the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA).

Pitera will give the talk, "Designing a City with a City," touching on the positive changes underway in Detroit, showing that when it comes to urban design and architecture, Detroit will serve as a model for other cities to follow. Pitera's perspective comes in part from his roles as lead partner for Civic Engagement in the Detroit Future City project and as executive director of UDM's Detroit Collaborative Design Center.
