Professor, Department of Patient Management, Associate Dean, Academic Administration, School of Dentistry, teaches community dentistry, ethical, legal issues including topics related to cultural diversity, leadership, women's issues and occupational hazards. Dr. Zarkowski lectures in continuing education courses and has published extensively in the areas of legal and ethical issues for the health professions. Dr. Zarkowski hold a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, a M.P.H. in Dental Public Health, a teaching certificate in Community Dentistry from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor and a certificate in Gerontology from Wayne State University. She joined the University in 1978.
Associate Professor of Management, teaches organization behavior, organization theory and strategic policy. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, a M.B.A. in Management from Wayne State University and a Ph.D. in Organization Theory from the University of Pittsburgh. He joined the University in 1973.
Associate Professor of Mathematics, teaches mathematics, especially analysis and other high level mathematics course. Zhongs research interests include functional analysis, complex analysis, numerical analysis, and innovative teaching of mathematics. Zhong holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the South China University of Technology, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Wayne State University. She joined the University from Coopers & Lybrand in 1992.
Associate Professor of Psychology and a faculty member of the Leadership Development Institute, teaches general psychology, social psychology, and industrial/organizational psychology. Many of her courses include a service learning component. Her areas of special interest, research and consulting include leadership development and organizational change. Zimmerman-Oster also provides consultation and technical assistance in the areas of training, evaluation and survey research to local non-profit and human service organizations. Zimmerman-Oster holds a B.A. from the University of Detroit and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Wayne State University. She joined the University in 1990.
Associate Professor of Accounting, teaches financial and cost accounting. Zorskis publications deal with marketing and organizational structure of accounting firms. He has also published a book on the subject of personnel policy. Zorski holds a masters degree and Ph.D. from University of Warsau. He passed the CPA exam in the State of Michigan. Zorski joined the University in 1985.
