The First Year Convocation welcomes new students to the University Community. University Ministry presides over a brief interfaith prayer service, and students are introduced to key administrators of the University, including the dean of each College and School.
After the keynote address and recessional to Calihan Hall, students and administrators mingle and enjoy a delicious lunch at patio tables under white tents with festive music. The event marks a positive start for students as they begin their first semester at the University.
