Description:
Join us as we deliver fresh produce to senior citizens on Princeton Street in the Martin Park neighborhood, in partnership with the Princeton Street Block Club. First-time volunteers are required to complete a volunteer orientation with staff coordinator Clara Gamalski before their shift begins. Follow this link to schedule an orientation. Transportation is provided to this off-campus service event. Meet in front of the Fitness Center.

Description:
Detroit Mercy students are invited to tour the Quicken Loans headquarters in Downtown Detroit. Students will tour the offices and learn about the company culture as well as various career paths available through the organization. ​ ​This event is open to all class levels. Transportation will be provided.Space is limited and students must register to attend. [3:15pm] Vigil for Immigrants and Refugees
Description:
We join together with members of the Detroit community to hold signs in support of immigrants and refugees in Clark Park every Friday. The group gathers on the corner of Clark Ave and Vernor Highway. The event concludes with prayer, followed by ice cream or snacks. Transportation is provided. Meet in the Ministry Office at 3:15 p.m. or meet us in Clark Park at 3:45 p.m.
