Description:
Once again we will celebrate Fat Thursday, the traditional Paczki Day in Poland. Paczki will be available outside University Ministry from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., in the Library from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m, and in the Shiple lobby from 9:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. They are $1.00 each, or may be pre-ordered (at least a half dozen) by calling 313-993-1560, stopping by the Ministry Office or downloading an order form at: www.udmercy.edu/ministry, and returning it to ministry@udmercy.edu. Paczki are freshly baked from Sunnyside Bakery in Hamtramck, and are available in the following flavors: apple, apricot, blueberry, cherry, chocolate, cream (white), custard, lemon, plain (unfilled), plum (prune), raspberry and strawberry.

The UDM Alumni Association will distribute free hot chocolate to students outside the TDR at 11:30 - 2 p.m. & inside the Library at 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27 as part of Philanthropy Awareness Day. Signs identifying areas made possible because of alumni support are posted throughout campus. In FY 2013, 6260 UDM alumni donors gave a total of $8,247,459 to support UDM students.
