3:00pm [3:00pm] Broadside Press Poets' Theatre
Description:

This month's BPPT will feature a reading with poet Clinton Anderson. The reading will be followed by an open mic session.

The Dudley Randall Center for Print Culture, African American Studies Program, and Broadside Press are happy to announce the return of the Broadside Press Poets' Theater.

Featured Poet:
Clinton Anderson was born in LaGrange, North Carolina in 1962. His father, Joseph Anderson, was a well loved local musician, and, his mother Martha Davis, was a skilled seamstress. Anderson was influenced by his parents as well as his ten siblings to be an artist/painter. His first major works were done at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Later shows followed in cities across the country and the world. Most shows have been accompanied with his poetry and the poetry of friends.

Open mic after the featured reader.

The Broadside Press Poets' Theater takes place in the Grounds the third Sunday of each month. The event is free and open to the public. We hope you can join us.
