Meet your admissions counselors

Carmen Garland

Carmen joined our staff one and a half years ago.  She believes that the personable assistance, one-on-one attention, class sizes and conveniently location are great things students should know about UDM. "We have great resources for students to help them feel more comfortable in their future working conditions and honestly the cafeteria food is great!"  Carmen's motivations for daily work is the drive to learn new things and obtain life lessons she will be able to teach her children in the future.  In her free time, Shop, ice skate, coach ice skating, watch TV and spend time with those she loves the most.

Carmen works with students who are graduating from high schools in cities bordering Detroit including Southfield, Warren, Inkster, Hazel Park, and Grosse Pointe.
