Student Life
Let the Student Life Office (SLO) help you make the most of your years at UDM! The SLO can help you connect with – or create – the student organizations and activities that will provide an important part of your higher education experience. This page highlights student groups, the Grounds coffee house and Greek organizations. Also see the Campus Recreation page.

Student Groups
- A great way to find out about UDM student groups is by coming to the annual Student Organization Fair.
- Take a look at a list of registered student organizations at UDM.
- The UDM Student Senate responds to the needs of students and expresses students' best interests to the University Administration. Additionally, Student Senate provides you with leadership development opportunities if you get involved.
- The Student Programming Board (SPB) provides campus activities for students. SPB hosts lectures, movies, Homecoming events, and more. SPB also provides programming for the student-run coffee house, "Grounds."
Campus Recreation
UDM offers a variety of fun sporting and recreation activities for all students. See the Campus Recreation orientation page.

Grounds Coffeehaus
Grounds Coffeehaus, on the ground level of the Student Center (downstairs), is the student-run gathering place where students can meet up, enjoy coffee and snacks, and check out open-microphone events such as poetry readings, improvisations and comedy routines. See the Grounds page.

Greek Life: Fraternities and Sororities
UDM is proud to be home to five fraternities and six sororities. The chapters represent local and international heritages and they contribute to student life at the University through campus activities and philanthropic projects. For a list of Greek organizations, see the Student Life Office's Greek Life page.
