A primary focus of the College of Engineering and Science is the recruitment of the best and brightest students. As you may know, U.S. News & World Report recently ranked UDM as one of the “best values” in our category (Midwestern Masters Comprehensive Universities). A key component of these rankings is alumni support.
Generous contributions from alumni and friends of the University of Detroit Mercy strengthen the University’s outstanding scholarship program, renovate academic buildings, and enhance academic programming. All gifts, regardless of their size, help to ensure the continuing quality of a UDM education. Private support is crucial to our ability to maintain and enhance the excellent programs that have been part of the university tradition for generations.
Please consider making a gift to the College. Stock gifts are advantageous because they eliminate capital gains tax liability and provide income tax savings. The University has offered an exciting opportunity for its new and increasing supporters this fiscal year. Any new or increased gifts given before June 30, 2005, will automatically enter the donor into a raffle for two All-Star Game tickets.
