Lori Jo Markowitz ’83 was elected vice president for the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants, effective July 2005. The Association fosters the educational and professional interest of family practice physician assistants by promoting clinical and academic excellence and providing a forum for information important to the profession. Markowitz currently works as a physician assistant at St. John Riverview Hospital.
