Theatre Company remembers Chi-Chi Regal
Friends
and family of Geraldine "Chi-Chi" Regal, daughter of the Theatre
Company's longtime director and professor David Regal, gathered in her memory
on April 16. Geraldine died tragically in 1995 at the age of 25. Theatre Company
faculty and graduates remembered her "practically growing up back stage,"
and she often helped her father and the rest of the players out during UDM
plays. A dedication plaque was placed by a tree that had been planted in her
honor near the Loranger Architecture Building eight years ago. A luncheon
at Lansing-Reilly Hall followed the dedication.
