Engineering alumnus Byron Green receives Achievement Award

Green ’90, Chrysler Group vice president for Truck & Activity Vehicle
Assembly Operations, received the Career Achievement Award at the Black Engineer
of the Year Award ceremony in February. The Awards conference is the nation’s
largest career and professional development conference for African–American
executives, professionals and college and high school students.
Green was recognized for his technical and managerial contributions in engineering. During his career in the automotive industry, Green has held a vide variety of engineering and management positions. He has been with Chrysler Group since 1998. Green earned his master’s degree in Engineering Management at UDM.
