Master of Community Development degree to begin in January
The University will launch its much-anticipated Master of Community Development (MCD) degree program in January 2006. The first of its kind in the nation, the program is designed for architects, government planners, real estate developers, community activists or any practitioner who needs to consider all aspects of a proposed project.

CBA hosts AJCU Business Deans meeting
The College of Business Administration hosted the recent meeting of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) Business Deans. The group shared ideas on joint programs and new initiatives, business ethics, possible joint advertising, enrollment issues, and the new standards for The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Dean's sabbatical paves way for future themes, visions and programs
After 13 years at the helm of UDM’s College of Engineering & Science, a three-month summer sabbatical allowed Dean Leo E. Hanifin to step back from administrative duties to explore “trends and emerging developments in our country, in the organizations that hire our graduates, and throughout the world” with the intent of defining potential new directions and opportunities for the College.
