BSN Completion Program adds new partners
The McAuley School of Nursing is now offering its Bachelor of Science in Nursing Completion Program at three new locations: Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, and Oakwood Southshore Medical Center in Trenton.
The BSN Completion Program was developed for registered nurses who have completed diploma or associates degree programs and wish to increase their skills by attaining an undergraduate degree. It is offered on campus, and at 15 area hospitals and health systems throughout Michigan. Students can earn this degree through part-time study, and in the evening.
The School took the program online in 2000, in conjunction with Trinity Health, the nation’s third largest Catholic health system. Trinity employees throughout the country are enrolled in the program, helping the corporation enhance the skills of its nursing staff and improve employee retention.
Approximately 450 students are enrolled in the program, including 37 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, 32 at Henry Ford Wyandotte and 25 at Oakwood Southshore.
