With the promise of a four-year, $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation, a team of five universities led by UDM is looking for ways to improve the efficiency, safety and security of the nation's transportation systems. Alumni honored at annual Slide Rule Dinner
More than 200 people attended the 74th annual Slide Rule Dinner, April 1 in Warren, Mich. During the event, UDM recognized Richard Kunnath '71, as Engineering Alumnus of the Year, and Joseph Hanak '55, as Science Alumnus of the Year. Read

Beginning this fall, UDM will pilot elements of an entrepreneurship program, involving a mix of students from diverse disciplines. The goal is to instill an entrepreneurial mindset and competencies aimed at making a difference in the workplace and in society. Read
