Join fellow alumni for Homecoming 2011
The Detroit Titans men’s basketball team challenges Valparaiso on Homecoming, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Calihan Hall. Homecoming festivities kick-off with mass in the St. Ignatius Chapel at 10 a.m. The Alumni Tailgate, featuring the Alumni Board Presidents Chili Cook-off, will begin at 11 a.m. in the Highbay of the Engineering Building and is open to all alumni.
Tailgate tickets are $15 each and include entry to the Tailgate and tickets to the game. Children under 10, the Class of 2010, parents of current students and former student-athletes are complimentary. Members of Titan 10 (classes 2000-2009) receive a discounted ticket price of $10 each.

Chicago-area alumni reception, Jan. 8
UDM will host a Chicago-area alumni reception on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011. Join UDM at noon for a pre-basketball game luncheon at Tufano's Vernon Park Tap. Then it’s off to cheer on the Titan men as they take on UIC at the UIC Pavilion at 2 p.m. For more information and to reserve your place today, visit the registration page.
Tour Italy during summer 2011!Join fellow UDM alumni as a Titan Traveler for a 10-day tour of Florence and Volterra, Italy with excursions to Siena, San Gimignano and Populonia, June 10-22, 2011. Alumni receive a special rate of $4,000 a person with 10 percent benefiting current UDM students traveling abroad. UDM receives MAGMA approval for AEV program
Recently, UDM's Advanced Electric Vehicle (AEV) certificate program
was selected by the Michigan Academy of Green Mobility Alliance (MAGMA)
as one of its approved programs. The AEV certification provides engineers
with technical knowledge for the development of advanced electric vehicles.
