Alumni Council initiates scholarship fund
The Nautilus, Winter 2002
The School of Architecture Alumni Council has endorsed a plan to raise funds to establish a $100,000 endowed Alumni Council Scholarship. Council President Lee Mamola (’74, ’76) has announced the commencement of fund raising for the endowment. The theme of this effort is “giving back,” and asks SOA alumni to support the financial needs of current students in the same way that they were supported by others when in school.
Dean Stephen Vogel recently visited alumni in Chicago to talk about the fund and is planning trips to other major cities with architecture alumni contingents.
It is important that the School receive as many gifts as possible before December 31, 2002. Those who wish to donate to this fund, may contact School of Architecture Development Director Enid Grauer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
