Group Tours

Detroit Mercy welcomes organized groups to visit campus.  A group visit will consist of an admissions presentation and a 45 minute walking tour of campus with a current student.  The admission presentation will provide general information about the University including campus life, admission requirements and scholarship opportunities. 

Please Note:  In the event of late arrival or inclement weather, the length of the campus tour may be modified. 


Groups are hosted from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. each Tuesday and Wednesday during the Fall and Winter Terms:

Fall Term              September 1 – December 1       

Winter Term         January 14 – April 1

Use the Group Campus Tour Reservation Form below to schedule an appointment at least two weeks prior to your visit.  Have an alternate date in mind as space is limited.

A chaperone is required to accompany groups during a visit to campus.  It is recommended that one adult accompanies every 15 students.


A confirmation email with visit details will be sent prior to a scheduled visit.  Plan to use the McNichols Campus entrance.  Buses should plan to park in Student/Visitor Lot F. 

Meal Options

While the Office of Admissions does not provide meals for group visits, Metz Dining Services can provide great dining options at various rates.  If you are interested in catering information, please note this in the comments section of the Group Visit Reservation Form and Metz contact information will be provided.
